Ryan Chapman - Executive Chairman, Integrative Life Center

When Ryan Chapman became majority owner and CEO of Integrative Life Center in 2018, it felt more like a calling than a business opportunity. At 18, Ryan was hired as a cashier, earning $6.75 per hour at Premier Parking in Nashville. He became owner within four years. When he sold it at 34, Premier Parking had grown into one of the largest parking providers in the country, managing over 500 locations and employing some 2,000 team members. Along the way, Ryan earned a BA and an MBA by attending classes on nights and weekends.

While Ryan’s career has focused on business, the world of addiction and recovery has been a big part of his journey.
Born in Decatur, Illinois, Ryan moved with his family to Nashville. As a child, he found comfort and success in baseball. When his baseball career ended in high school, Ryan’s drug use escalated. By age 18, a variety of circumstances created an emptiness in his soul that he attempted to fill with drugs and risky behavior. Ryan spent 28-life changing days at a residential impatient treatment center, followed by several months at sober living facilities.

Ryan is a believer in the healing power of the holistic and integrative treatment practices that are the heart of ILC. He believes that everyone can find—and love—their true selves. Holding the space for this to happen is the mission of ILC.
Ryan and his wife Betsy are the parents of two young children, Vivian and Bo, and are members of West End Community Church. Ryan is the Tennessee state chair of Young Presidents Organization and is involved with Barefoot Republic, a Christian summer camp for kids from diverse economic backgrounds. As well, he is active in UpRise, a career development program for Nashville adults, and is on the board of Edna Adan Maternity Hospital Foundation.

Ryan moved into the role of Executive Chairman of Integrative Life Center in February 2021.
